HSP was founded in 1994 in Inglewood, California, then later moved to Westminster, California in 2000.

HSP has been offering custom syntheses of drug metabolites and MS stable isotope labeled internal standards for drug discovery and drug of abuse testing industries.  The offered services later included bioanalytical method validation for bioavailability and bioequivalence studies.
